We are all very excited to be able to start a new school year on Friday. After periods away from each other last year and a long break over summer we are optimistically looking forward to the prospect of new learning, new relationships and lots of fun!
School is set to begin at 8:45am on Friday. I know there has been a lot of us wondering about what is allowed and what is not allowed when it come to parents and visitors on site. I will attempt to clear that up. Basically the guidelines from the Department of Education have not shifted dramatically since last year. We are still required to implement a multitude of safety precautions when it comes to eliminating the potential spread of Coronavirus. We will have staff on Gates welcoming students in and sanitising will be implemented.
While we encourage everyone to drop children off at the gates wherever possible, if you do need to accompany your child on site you are allowed to do so. We just need to stick to a maximum time on school grounds of 15 minutes. This is to avoid the need for contact tracing and record keeping.
We are looking forward to seeing lots of happy faces on Friday!
