Books for Goldilocks…

Today’s literacy professional learning session was focused on reading. We want to start unpacking the Reading workshop. The image below demonstrates the reading workshop. One thing that is pivotal for effective learning to be happening during reading lessons is the access to high interest appropriates leveled texts. This pre-requisite was the focus for this afternoon’s session. We discussed Just Eight book boxes and set some concrete plans for ensuring that we have consistent use of just right book boxes across the school.
