R U OK?

Conversations are great! One of the great things about school is that it gives us a perfect opporuntity to talk and connect with each others. WE thikn that this is what makes lockdowns so hard!

Today is R U OK day. It is a day we celebrate in Australia and we aim to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with those in their world who may be struggling. You don't need to be an expert to reach out - just a good friend and a great listener.

Some of our Students got together with Miss Hanna recently to discuss ways we can care for people during R U OK day. There is some great ideas, so well done and thank to everyone involved!

The official R U OK website is also a great place to learn more. Here is the website: https://www.ruok.org.au/

Use these four steps and have a conversation that could change a life:

1. Ask R U OK?

2. Listen

3. Encourage action

4. Check in

Well go on reach out to someone and ask them " Are you ok?"
