We have just celebrated Harmony Week at BSPS. It is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community. Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it. Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.We had a fun day on Tuesday dressing up in orange and rotating through activities about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. As a whole school, we worked together to spell out the word HARMONY so check out our amazing drone video.
There was so much Harmony in other spaces throughout the week as well! Early in MArch we asked kids all about belonging and harmony. Check out this video!
