Arnie, his ferret and our Instructional Practice

This afternoons session kicked off with a scene from Kindergarten Cop. In the famous scene Arnold Schwarzenegger completely loses control of his classroom and his temper. He eventually regains his composure and with the assistance of his pet ferret engages his students and brings back some order back into the class.

One thing this clip does do is remind us that we can’t always control everything that happens in our classrooms all the time but we do have control over our instructional practice.
