Book day in 2020 was a book day like no other! Our Book day is always a very special day on our school calendar. It is the perfect time to elaborate authors, books and of course…reading! Due to COVID-19 restrictions we were unable to have visitors on site which meant that 2020 was the first time in a very long time we haven’t had a public book day parade. We conducted an assembly over Zoom and congratulated some of our best dressed people! We tried to record the Zoom but had quite a few technical difficulties (or human errors!), you can check it below.
Families spend hours working out costumes and this year we had some very impressive outfits, check out some of the efforts below in a couple of videos that were put together.
This year the PIcture story book of the year was I need a Parrot by Chris McKimmie. You can listen to the book below.
